				Lost on the Armoured Cruiser HMS Black Prince.
Peter Burns was born on Oct 15th 1897 in Belfast, son of Peter and Margaret Burns. 
He became a stoker in the RNR on HMS Black Prince which in the Battle of Jutland, was hit by at least twelve heavy shells and several smaller ones, sinking within 15 minutes. There were no survivors from Black Prince 's crew, all 857 being killed.
At the time of his death, his parents' address is given as 201, York Road, West Hartlepool.
