Fate

The British steamship Brumaire was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-46 (Leo Hillebrand) in the North Atlantic, on July 24th, 1917. The ship was on a voyage from Hartlepool to La Spezia, Italy, with a cargo of coal. Two lives were lost. Master J.M.L. Selleur.
