Fate

One of two ships chartered by the American Commission for Relief in Belgium, the Hendonhall was mined and sunk off the Gabbard Buoy, Lowestoft, on May 1st, 1916. The mine was laid by German submarine UC-10 (Alfred Nitzsche).
