Moggie left West Hartlepool on 11 November 1888 with a cargo of coke & coal & a crew of 17 bound for Pillan, Germany. On 16 November 1888 she stranded on a ledge of rocks off Nyhamn on the coast of Sweden. She was eventually got off on 30 November by a salvage boat & had sustained considerable damage. The master was found to blame & his certificate was suspended for 4 months.

1897 29 October left West Hartlepool. November left Windau for Lowestoft.
