1941 - Launch and Shipyard Movements

The following notes on dockyard ship movements were made at the time by Mr. Thomas W. Withers, of South Crescent, Hartlepool:

Empire Newcomen – 1941 – No.1120

Sep. 6th – Attending launch (Swainson Dock). From launching berth to Dockyard
Sep. 13th – From Dockyard to North Quay
Sep. 15th – From North Quay to Dockyard
Sep. 20th – From Dockyard to CMEW
Sep. 29th – From CMEW to Dockyard
Oct. 20th – From Dockyard to North Quay End
Oct. 21st – From North Quay End to Dockyard
Oct. 23rd – One tide attendance – 11.30am
Oct. 23rd – From Dockyard to North Quay - 5pm
Oct. 23rd – From North Quay to Dockyard
Oct. 26th – One tide attendance – 7am
Oct. 27th – From Dockyard to Irvine’s Dry Dock
Oct. 28th – One tide attendance – 10am
Oct. 29th – From Irvine’s Drydock to 15 & 16 Spouts
Nov. 1st – From Harbour to Middlesbrough
