Fate

The British steamship Iolanthe was torpedoed and sunk off Weymouth by UC-75 (Johannes Lohs) on January 4th, 1918. The ship was on a voyage from Greenock to St. Helens with a cargo of military supplies, hay and a deck cargo of railway wagons. Master J. Scott.
