Fate

The British steamship Bostonian was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-53 (Hans Rose), 35 miles south of Start Point, on October 10th, 1917. The ship was on a voyage from Philadelphia to London with general cargo. 4 crew were lost. Master W.F. Wood.
