In convoy OB-218 On a voyage from Manchester for Montreal with government & general cargo & a crew of 60 Manchester Brigade was torpedoed by German submarine (U-137 Herbert Wohlfarth) & sank west of Malin Head in 54.53N/10.22W on 26 September 1940. The master, commodore, 6 naval staff, 1 gunner & 47 of the crew lost.
