Fate

The Norwegian steamship Bygdo sank off Lowestoft on October 27th, 1916, after striking a mine laid by the German submarine UC-4 (Hans Howaldt). The ship was on a voyage from Hull to Genoa with a cargo of coal. There were no casualties. Master - J. Lorenizen.
