Fate

The British steamship City of Adelaide was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-63 (Kurt Hartwig) off the south-west coast of Sicily, on August 11th, 1918. The ship was on a voyage from Rangoon to Liverpool with genral cargo. Four crew were lost.
