On a voyage from Cardiff for Buenos Aires with a cargo of coal & a total comliment of 35 Oakdene dispersed from convoy OG-59 & was torpedoed by German submarine U-105 (Georg Schewe) & sank NW of St Paul Rocks. Master Ernest Hart.
