Fate

On a voyage from Nantes to Bilbao in ballast Capenor struck a mine laid by German submarine UC-21 (Reinhold Saltzwedel) & sank at the entrance to La Pallice Roads on the west coast of France in 46.06.04N/1.17.04W on 22 April 1917. No lives were lost. Master - G. Arthur.
