Fate

The British steamship Ramillies was captured and sunk by gunfire from the German submarine U-58 (Karl Scherb), off North-West Ireland, on July 21st, 1917. The ship was on a voyage from Troon to Huelva with a cargo of coal. No lives were lost but the Master W. Knight was taken prisoner.
